The case and cooler is a little cheap for that build. Any reason as to why? You could opt for a very nice case such as the Phantom 820 or a high end Silverstone case. If you're spending that much on a motherboard you might as well go the extra mile for an ASUS rampage IV extreme/formula. Then there is the closed loop water cooler. Again you're cheaping out a little here. Go for the Kraken X60 or when it's finally released, which is soon, the Swiftech H220, both are the high end and will fit into your budget. Lastly, research the GPU...you can get probably a less powerful single GPU and think about crossfiring later down the line.

Last note, is this a genuine build?

Yes, this is a legit build. Haven't had a full system upgrade in a few years. Normally a part here or there. This is my current case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811123127 Everything should fit in there, but wanted a case with better cable management. Thank you for the phantom suggestion, I like it. Added. I created a public wishlist titled the same as my name here, but it hasn't posted yet. As for the mobo, was going off the reviews. I'll change that selection. For the cooling, Haven't done water cooling before, was going off a friends recommendation. Added the kraken x60 rl. I want to get a gpu that will still be great for a few years, I haven't purchased the items yet, awaiting titan benchmarks. I may be able in a month or 2 squeeze a few extra pennies for 2x of them With the updated mobo that would be sweet. I just want to make sure those cards live up to the hype I have been reading.

    awesome.
however i'd still change a few things around.
ssd: OCZ vector (either one 512 or 2x256 ones in raid0)
HDD: i'd recommend a WD green instead im assuming this one is intended as a movies/music/picture storage right? (also options for larger ones if you'd want that)
beyond that i must say you already had a pretty neat list of parts already.

Good idea in the hdd, I think I'm gonna stick with the 840 for the ssd. Debating raid or not. I will prob run a solo drive and clone it every once in awhile in case of a failure. sitting at $3700 waiting on some titan results.
