when the kick option pops up, ill will click yes. but not gonna yell on the chat that he should kicked or whatever.
i dont care tbh. most of the time a new player is found fast and can move on.
clicking yes stop the whine. thats the reason i click yes :P
it's a greedy thing to do; I wouldn't start the kick but I don't think I would be clicking no either.
Except it's not that it's a 1/25 for any given individual, it's that they're not even giving anyone else (unless people are watching /loot) the chance (and some people are straight out denied the chance, ie if it's plate only plate wearers would even have the need option) that chance...
So instead of considering the 1/25 chance for each individual, maybe you should think about the 24/25 chance of failure the douche bypassed by thinking they're more important
Lol. Because LFR is so tough that without you in my group I could never beat it.
People who like calling others "retards". Oh the joys of the WoW community! It's an apt name.
I'll pass and still vote kick you out of my group. Would that make you happy?Look who's talking, Mr "waa waa I couldn't roll for 30g so I'm going to boot the needer".
He takes the attitude that it costs him nothing to need on anything he can, and he might get satisfaction out of it.
I take the attitude that it costs me nothing to vote to kick people I regard as rude, and I might get satisfaction out of it.
Wouldn't bother calling someone out over it though, I'd just vote to kick & move on much like they would need & move on.
Cry more.
The principle? Let's see if they exist if the item can't be vendored for gold.
Who is declaring anything theirs? Others can roll too...
I won't... I'm carrying the grp and offering advice. =)
My "1/25" thing assumes that all 25 roll greed. So the best odds in a perfectly fair situation is 1/25...
If it's a lockbox, then this isn't applicable as everyone can roll need on it. If it's, like a plate item, then perhaps several can roll for it. Got nothing to do with important, if the roll is there on a shitty item, I'll roll on it because it's free gold. I do not care if someone else rolls need for it, or I don't get to win it. It's nothing at the end of the day.So instead of considering the 1/25 chance for each individual, maybe you should think about the 24/25 chance of failure the douche bypassed by thinking they're more important
Umm... no, not exactly what I'm implying. You say you never kick bad people - then what if it were a tank that continually wiped the group because they were too bad (for example, falling down to their deaths on Elegon)?
LFR is populated with retards. Sorry for stating facts.People who like calling others "retards". Oh the joys of the WoW community!
You aren't the deciding factor.I'll pass and still vote kick you out of my group. Would that make you happy?
How is it being disruptive? The player rolling need is just going about their business, while you're making a drama out of it by initiating a vote kick. I would say it is you who is being more disruptive.
Lol... a few, I enjoy watching arguments over spilt milk, and refuting some of the stuff on here. It's fun. If I took it seriously, I'd be crying about 30g... oh wait...How many posts have you made in this thread? Seems you're taking this way more seriously than anyone else...

Everyone can roll need on lockboxes.
Why? Because it's available to them. Free gold, yay. Too bad for you, buddy. Maybe a green will drop for your class which he can't roll on? It's not an excuse, it's reality - there will be competition for those need rolls.
Not quite sure why people are still responding to Heidelstein, I doubt the mentally challenged are able-minded enough to understand or respond to conversations that are deeper than their limited comprehension. Let him win his shinies, they're pretty and I'm sure he could appreciate how they glimmer in the light.
OT: As people have said before, it's the principal of it and not the "loss of a 20-30g".
I shard everything I get and have an overabundance of enchanting mats that I don't need, and I don't AH them either - I packrat them. Enchanting mats, and greens, have absolutely no value to me whatsoever, those "1c pieces nobody cares about" are worth more to me. As others have said before as well, I wouldn't initiate a kick but I wouldn't hesitate on clicking Yes. If the needer continues to need then I may initiate a kick as well.
And I'm not a baddie, I usually rank 4-7 place in damage in MSV and 10-13 place in damage in HoF/ToES...as discipline.
stupid people being on the internet isn't exactly a discovery
Oh, so now I'm mentally challenged because I think the idea of rolling "Need" on greens is completely trivial, and there are a lot of crybabies in LFR? And somehow you're linking something so trivial in a computer game to something of considerable depth? Nah, I'm not the one who's mentally challenged here... I have something called "perspective".
It's not about principle, because I guarantee that if the item was worth 0 most people would not give a crap. Hell, I suspect most people anyway do not give a crap about a "green" item. Get some damn perspective. These 'need' rollers are usually kicked out by only a handful of disgruntled crybabies, whereas the rest of the raid is going about its business, most likely not even aware someone rolled Need.OT: As people have said before, it's the principal of it and not the "loss of a 20-30g".
