    Lol.

I took some tests yesterday, won't comment on how they went since I'm not going to jynx myself. Today had a couple of classes. Officially on Easter Break weekend. I actually have a lot of homework to catch up on.

Went out bowling and to Dave and Busters (it was PACKED) and to lunch/dinner yesterday. Today I just worked out and ate. Life feels boring. Easter Break is boring.

Makes me feel empty. Everything is going my way. Got into my summer research program, successfully preparing another poster for my school's research week, done with midterms, I'm getting a jump start on homework I have to do this break, working out is feeling good, video games are going well, watching sports is entertaining. But it doesn't really feel like enough. I need more. I don't feel like the same guy altogether. I barely even remember not crushing that one midterm. I don't know. I feel like I should be doing something more.

Fuck yeah, physics major! This year was my first year Electrical Engineering, but I realised in the first couple months that I should have chosen something else. I quit 2 months ago and I'm now planning on doing either physics or engineering/applied physics.

Been in a sort of pseudo relationship with my best friend..who's married. Three days ago, I told us both to step back and start over as friends. She took it well and thought it was all over with and things could go back to normal and she wanted to just be "BFFs" or whatever.

Then this evening, get an angry message from her husband calling me toxic and chewing my ass for 20 minutes after responding. Apparently, out of guilt she told him what happened with us except she scapegoated me and threw me under the bus to save face to him, followed by removing me on FB/realid and blocking me entirely. Twisted around what happened and put every ounce of the blame on me despite the relationship being initiated by her to begin with and I'm the one who stepped up to end it.

End up losing someone I really cared about and my best friend at the same time because of selfishness that I didn't think she had in her. I guess you never really know a person.

    Sorry for venting.

Had such a long day. Got up at like 7 and drove to school late since it's Friday. Got to school like 8:10, spent like 20 minutes in the lab setting up the outline of how I want my research poster for the one I'm presenting on Thursday. Then spent until like 10:25 in the computer lab getting the easy parts of the poster ready and printing them, teacher came to school, showed her a draft in the lab, went back to the computer lab and printed and did some more work, had 2 classes. Then went to teacher, showed her revised stuff. Went back to computer lab to reprint stuff, the main stuff of the poster, but now lol it's like the teacher wanted that stuff to be changed. Ended up leaving school at 5 with more work to do. Zzzz. I actually got a lot accomplished though.

Finished reading "The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living" by Dr. Phinney and Dr. Volek last night.

It was pretty much like reading a specialised biology textbook, but I enjoyed it nevertheless, and it had some very useful information.

And today was great! Was my dad's birthday, so we went out to dinner, shopped for stuff (We got a basketball goal!!) and are now eating homemade ice-cream cake.

    What's a basketball goal?

Today isn't over but started out pretty uneventful. I slept kind of early last night (11 PM) since I was so tired from this week's school and research. Yesterday itself was a long day lol. This morning I worked out, called my grandma, setup my poster a little bit, watched an episode of shark tank while eating lunch. I did a little more poster work, still have some more of that to do today, and also I made my parents get me a $20 PSN card when they went shopping. Gonna buy the Walking Dead game since it's like $10.49. I deserve a treat.

Meh, either name is acceptable for it according to google searches, but in my area at least, I've heard it called a basketball goal. (And I call it that myself).

    Which college Hastings?

Today I took the day off (only had one 50 min class). Woke up, called US Open people to inquire about tickets. Worked out (only one set, I was so tired). I made my poster last night and did Italian homework last night. Just gotta study for my psyche test and do the extra credit for it for the test tomorrow and mentally prepare for my poster presentation tomorrow.
