Little frustrated with my DPS

So, simcraft has me at 82k and change. Which is fine, I have my settings at a medium level not at pro level but I find myself doing a bit lower then my potential. I'm trying to squeeze every bit of damage I can. Currently, if I drop down to 4717 haste from 6637 and stack mastery instead of the next haste threshold, I'm still doing the same amount of damage roughly as with this haste cap. Any suggestions, or advice would be much appreciated.

How much worse? How much do you do in stand and nuke fights like Tayak? What raid buffs do you have or not have? If we're talking a couple of K it might be gear related, if it's more then it might be playstyle, in which case it would be helpful to describe your play.

In all most all fights where I don't have extra responsibility roles, such as windlord or garalon, Im about 2-3k behind potential dps. Which isn't bad, but I feel like I should be doing more.

You hit Zorlok right on the nosey but then you dropped off a bit for Tayak. Perhaps there is something you are not doing right on that fight. I know that fight throws stuff off at the end, but you had low uptime compared to the shadowpriest, for example. Might be something to look at.

On tayak I was screwin up on refreshs prior hidden strike, and at the end lagnado'd

Sorry, I posted here because the entire forum that's stickied on top is completely outdated and pertained nothing to do with my post. If I were asking for rotational help etc etc, then yes, but asking someone to critique my armory and wol is entirely different. Perhaps you should read the content of posts before you write gibberish

Just because the thread was started 3 years ago doesn't mean it's irrelevant to the conversation. There's a reason it's still stickied. People are still using it.

Xyronic is absolutely right. The thread is still very much in use, and you should have used it. I caught this thread rather late though, so it's a bit big to merge into another thread now without loosing the order of the posts and getting replies mixed up, so I'll leave it. Next time you have a problem with DPS output, gear questions or log insight though, use the sticky Xyronic linked, please.
