    New Gaming Monitor(s)

I've recently been thinking of buying a couple new monitors(yay dual-screen) for gaming/movies. I'm at about a 300 dollar max price tag per monitor, and am not really sure what to get. I've read plenty of comments back and forth like "go/don't go IPS", "do/don't buy a 27"", and so on about different brands , models, and screen types. Any suggestions, and reasoning is greatly appreciated.

Samsung SyncMaster. 27 inch. HDMI. I love it, and swear by it. LED-lit, phenomenal contrast ratio, BRILLIANT colors.

I game and edit photo/video on it, and it's within your budget.
