Two months ago I upgraded my computer and have had zero problems up until about 2 weeks ago. For the past two weeks, my wow has been crashing almost constantly during raids (as a healer, means everyone wiping and basically my fault for lack of progress). This happened mostly on Elegon HC, which I've heard gives graphics problems, but it still happens on any fight, including holiday boss, standing around doing nothing, and pretty much anything I do. The game usually crashes after 15-20 minutes of use, but during raids it's far worse, crashing roughly every 5-10 minutes, almost every attempt.
First, my computer specs:
Intel i5 3570k @ 4.6GHz, cooled with Corsair H60 (idle at 31'c, load at 55'c)
Asus Maximus V Gene Z77 mATX board
2x8GB G-skill DDR3@1866
Crucial M4 64GB SSD
WD 1TB 7200 HDD
AMD HD 6970, cooled with Arctic Accelero VGA cooler (idle 38'c, load 58'c)
Rosewell 850W PSU
I recently have been getting BSOD Memory Management errors (both windows 7 Ult and 8 Pro) as well as errors with Windows Experience Index (assessment crashes at Direct9 Texture Load Assessment). I've installed and reinstalled windows 7 one both hard drives 3-4 times and windows 8 twice, same error persists (though the direct9 is only windows 7). All of this done, I have reseated the memory and switched the slots they are in and switched them to different channels to no avail.
Does anyone seem to know the cause of this? Blue posts say error 132 in WoW is a GPU driver error, but I have the most up to date drivers available from AMD (also tried DX9 and DX11 with same results), although I've also heard of it being memory errors. If it is memory or HDD I can swap those and RMA them, but hoping for some more experienced input before I run down that road.
