    Lost my autenthicator app and can´t get back my ACCOUNT!

    i got the autenthicator app on my phone couple months ago. everything is fine untill my phone crashed yesterday. i lost the app and cant play. so i go to battle.net and do the lost autenthicator list. after that i get this in the mail from blizz :

    In order to process your request, you will need to reply to this ticket with the Answer to your Secret Question and the Serial Code of your Battle.net Authenticator currently registered to your account. Please submit the information in the form of a text document file (such as Notepad), as an attachment to your reply (for security reasons, we ask that you do not write these in the main body of your reply).

    If you are not able to provide both of these items of information, you will need to submit your information by visiting the following link:
    /eu.battle.net/account/support/remove-authenticator.


    the Serial Code of your Battle.net Authenticator currently registered to your account. good job blizz. i dont got the app anymore so How!? anyways i made the notepad with everything in it and asked about the Authenticator code. and geusssss whut. i get a mail back with the same text like above.

    and then the awsome link. who the hell do you think i got so far as this in the first place ? ive done /eu.battle.net/account/support/remove-authenticator.ht

    so i thought ticket isnt answerd well enough. so i click the link thats with it and there we go again. you need to logg in on battle.net. gg blizz i cant
    logg in. so it all seems to me. i lost my account because my phone crashed. cant get it back it seems because i cant get any response of blizz helping me and cant get on battle.net so cant get any help so what ever from them.

    Ps: the hole reason i get autenthicator app is because i needed to get it otherwise i couldnt play from blizz becasue of security reasons. so GG! - ,-

    Make a phonecall. Believe it or not, people still do that these days.

    no but its still weird how they handle this. i mean i cant get on battle.net and all there options are logg in to battle.net etc.

    phone them in the morning, their phone support is brilliant. i had to phone this morning after getting my account hacked, authenticator removed, name and email of the account changed, they still sorted it out in 10mins. ive never liked their web support, always been a bit slow and awkward to use. you're really best off waiting a night and ringing. its free to phone aswell.

    well that sounds like a proper service. and i will call 2morrow when im relax and sleepy so i wont rage

    by the way, when removing an authenticator from an account you need to prove owenership of the account, usually they will ask you for a CD key of any blizzard game (including expansions) or proff of ID with the same name as the account owner.

    if you have the serial they will remove it for you giving them the serial if not you will have to supply a scan/image of a document. If you can already do so open a ticket from here: https://eu.battle.net/account/suppor...n-support.html <- this don't require you to log in on B.net

    and chose the option "I lost my authenticator and I want to remove it from my account." as the process will ask you to

    You're sort of supposed to save your auth's security code beforehand. The app even says so. Next time you install it just screenshot and get it to your pc, or write down the code on an old fashioned piece of paper.

    I lost my app twice during a crash and I restored it in a matter of minutes with said code without needing Blizzard to fix it for me.

    Anyway as others said, just give 'em a call.

    To remove it by phone you will need to know your account name and surname (hopefully you used your real name) and have your vanilla wow cd-key ready. If you don't have the key, then lets hope that you paid your subscription with a credit card/paypal account or any other mean that shows your name and can be used to pretty much verify that you are the owner. In that case, you can send them a copy of your id and they ll remove it. Otherwise I have no clue what you can do about it.
