Search feature needs reworking

Why do I have to fill in a captcha just to look for some information about TV shows? Really?

Why is it whenever I press the search button, instead of getting results i'm thrown into this page where I have to fill out a bunch of information just to find something that could've taken seconds.

Here is what I recommend-

No captcha, all i'm doing is looking for something on the site.

No abundance of reqiured information, the "all types" box should be selected by default

There should be an advanced search and a "I don't care, just look it up!" search, not two advanced searches as it is now.

Is the captcha there when you are logged in? I know it exists for users that are not logged in.

The behavior you are describing sounds like what guests see. If I type something into the search box at the top of the page, it takes me right to the results.

Ah, you are right, I keep forgetting to check the "keep my logged in" box whenever I log in, so i must've forgotten to log back in, thanks and nevermind.
