for us leveling addicts, an achievement for reaching max level with 11 different classes would be cool tho.

    No.

It's threads like this which makes me wonder why some people play this game, when all they want is to get rid of stuff that makes an (mmo)rpg an (mmo)rpg.
Besides, leveling is already extremely fast with heirlooms, darkmoon xp/rep bonus for a week each month and other stuff.

i'm in top 200 world rankings pve on all bosses normal/hm since wol exists, and the best in wow for me is : leveling an alt, pop it @ max level, see it become purpled stuffed in each slot and reach the ilvl of my main character.
All is so easy to anticipate with crafts/heirlooms, i really love it.
And best part of it : you can in another hand take a long time to make it, OR 2 days for up and stuffed this alt.
Give me the option of instant pop @80alt rezscroll as you want it, i'll certainly never make another alt on this way.

One of the big points of a role-playing game is the questing and the leveling. They're not going to remove it, and they shouldn't. Try taking a different leveling route, or altering how you level to make it fun and challenging. Remove gear or don't use heirlooms. I don't level alts because I need to "learn how to play", I level them because I like to immerse myself in the class and the experience of leveling them up.
I thought the exact same. But that was BEFORE I had lvled every single class to 85 (and in MoP 2 to 90, both lvled from 1 to 90).

Lvling gets boring. Really boring. I've lvled through every zone imaginable besides perhaps silithus, which will be the next place I'll try to do. But besides that I've basically lvled through every zone there is.
The lvls 1 to 60 dont bother me so much. The lvls 60-80 do in fact bother me a lot.

Outland and Northrend lvling zones are so extremely boring after you've done them several times, not to mention it's really slow. I've been lvling my DK now (like my 3rd DK im having to lvl through outland and northrend) and well, I'm lvling him through dungeons because I can't stand the zones.

The current talent system doesn't help with that either tbh. Only getting a major upgrade every 15 levels is quite de-motivating.

I would love this idea, but not to max level. Maybe max-10, so level 80. That skips the oldest content and still doesn't give you a completely free max level char.
It might not really seem like you're learning while lvling, but you really do. Especially with some classes. Which is why I wouldn't want something that bumps you up to a certain lvl, but instead increased exp. I know there is an item you get from a rare mob that increases your exp by 300% for 1 hour, but its consumable and like I said, for only 1 hour.

Something that I would prefer is having a stackable buff like the valor buff that increases the exp gain for characters below 85 by like 25% for every lvl 90 on that realm. 25% might seem a lot, but getting to 90 from 85 takes signicantly longer than 80-85, so not so many people will actually get the bonus exp. This buff could for example stop at 100% or so and can be turned off someway.
