Execute nerf not yet changed or reverted

I really hope the meta gem compensates for this change, and that they don't over-do the nerfs on it.

As for now its (Partially reverted the -25% nerf to Execute. It's now -15%. (As mentioned previously, we adjust the meta-gem.). It's still retarded, nerfing ability because of meta gem.

The way I read it, it's +13% from the -15% it was, so -2% now? WHy not just leave it alone.

Doubt it. Original nerf was -25%, or x 0.75. They then changed that to -15% or 0.85. Another way of saying that is they nerfed it by 25% then buffed it by 13% (0.75 * 1.13 = 0.8475, or -15.25% nerf compared to original).

PvE wise warriors will be fine. I'm pretty sure warriors have received a nerf to damage in every single patch since forever because they scale so well with gear.

So currently execute dmg is getting nerfed by 15% while its AP scaling is getting increased by 13%? Isn't that rather counter-intuitive? So exe will scale better with gear but its base dmg is getting nerfed.

[edit] responding to my own post: it makes sense if blizzard is trying to balance execute damage between the 3 specs. Higher AP scaling with a lower base damage will essentially close the gap between TG and SMF.

I am really not sure what was so unclear there was only a nerf no buff. Very disappointing having a hard time breaking about even damage wise in 527 gear on ptr instead of 510 on live.

Probably just slow with tooltips, no buff to scaling afaik.
