Luckily, since it's Florida, the dog can use the Stand Your Ground defense.
Wilfred anybody? US Wilfred?
Why am I back here, I don't even play these games anymore
The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.
Related story in that link: Woman shot by her friends oven.
It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.
Sounds like another incident of a man not unloading his gun, putting the safety on and putting it away.
Putin khuliyo
thank goodness. this part is pretty choice:
According to the police report, Lanier said he was driving along State Road 17 North when the dog kicked "the unloaded .380 pistol." It went on to say that Lanier was "surprised" to learn not only that the gun was loaded, but also that it was actually a 9mm weapon, not a .380.
I was more distracted by the connected "Woman shot by oven while trying to cook waffles" link.

In before "a gun needs a human in order to fire".
I love news articles like this, completely sarcastic regarding such a ridiculous story. Its like the writer got the assignment from his boss, took one look at it and said, "Well eff you too! I wanted to write about the abandoned puppy saved by a turtle but nooo I get this."
This presents another obvious and pressing need to be armed. How else can we defend ourselves from all the animals wielding semi automatic weapons?
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.
Revelation 6:8
The dog did it on purpose, this is just the start. They will rise up and take over the world! /tinfoil hat
Aye mate
We need to ban dogs before this all goes to shit.

Tell that to the whoever plays the Jets
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
