Eh. Buying a pair of Asics running shoes (the ones I linked) is a way better idea. Buying shoes is so underrated for men that we usually never think of it. If you have a job where you constantly stand and are not like a bank clerk where you sit down all day, shoes are a great investment!

If you haven't owned a pair yet, and you need new shoes I definitely recommend Asics. They are the epitome of walking on a cloud and they are REALLY stylish if you don't get the obnoxious 6-color schemes (which are gross). The ones I linked are very high quality.

Agreed. Take the employee's advice and ask them specifically about Asics or other running shoes. TBH they may mislead you into buying one of their shoes, but at least get their advice.

Rave reviews and some might say easily the best set of headphones under $250 bucks, other audiophiles have argued even higher.

I have these. Worth the $$. Get an Antlion Audio Mod Mic to go with it and you have the best gaming headset around

I say get the head phones, nothing wrong with feeling comfortable while playing your favorite hobby.

Just one caveat though, I wouldn't spend all of it on just the phones. Go to the WoW store and spend some cash getting a few nice pets or mounts for your main. Everyone will be jealous.


For a suggestion on things not on your list, I suggest some sort of audio program you can listen to while your playing. You could learn a language, listen to a recording of a book, or even Tony Robins, the famous motivational speaker. I did that and now I'm conversational in both Spanish and Chinese.

Yeah, I wound up with NB this time around and I'm happy with them, but the guy I'd worked with had foot-appropriate Asics Gel Kayano and some sort of Mizuno Wave too. I was basically led to understand that as long as you have the right support, they're all great shoes, and you just get the one that you like the look and feel of best.

The sensor to show where I rest my weight was really enlightening. The treadmill with the camera is sweet too!

Lol so many people have those things here at my college. If I was going to dump $200 on some headphones I would at least do some research.

If you want a good gaming headset for that price range, I would recommend the Corsair Vengeance 1500. I was kind of skeptical about spending that sort of money on a headset (having been used to the $15 Wal Mart special for years), but I haven't been disappointed. Got mine for around $90, so you should even have a few bucks left over afterwards.
