Yeah, they should also close up all tiers we are finished with. So people cant go back and faceroll to obtain t1-t14 or what ever tier we're at now. Same logic.

Me my self have obtained rank 11, rank 9 and rank 7 on my chars from Vanilla. I only play on one of them. I welcome this change, always wanted to wear the set on my warrior.
Though alot of people will buy the boost, to transmog into this gear. People will get tired of it, when everyone wears the same transmog. (Just like they said t2 would be overused, I NEVER see anyone with a t2 transmog, and I play on a full server (Outland EU))
So calm your titties, and welcome this change as we finaly will be able to transmog into this good looking PvP set.

I dont get people like you, everyone should deserve being able to get what the game provides. Exclusiveness should only excist in progression.
You better change your mindset.

in Ultima Online you got ethereals and other goodies for staying with the game for years. while you could sell the goodies (think stuff to decorate your house with) only those with an account aged 48months (or something like that) could ride the ethereals (in UO your mounts were actually animals you had to tame in the world - they could die / be killed if you didn't pay attention / were unlucky) - ethereal mounts on the other hand were like wow mounts - summon/dismiss-able at leisure. to most new UO players / those who didn't pvp ethereals provided an advantage over real mounts.
don't you agree it's nice to have something (that doesn't even provide you with an ingame advantage - come on it's just a skin) to show off for your years of dedication to the game? and to argue GM was just a time investment while nowadays it takes skill - well I wouldn't disagree but there were far less people willing to invest that much time. why r7 FoS would let you xmog GM gear and not just knight-lieutenant? no clue
