Paladins aren't the most played class because of strength...
I'm pretty optimistic about WW, I don't think they will be super OP, but they will be strong for sure. I hope they don't get too many knee-jerk nerfs, just like every other hybrid spec does when they actually become good. I'm surprised they even allowed SPriests to actually stay decent. Few other spec that can off-heal have ever been allowed to be more than mediocre.

yeah WW is still kind of gimped. It was looking good, but in RBG's we' still won't be taken.
I've been messing around with them on the PTR, we still don't really have any nuke, but our consistent damage with 10 brews will give the healer a lot of stress.
The mastery change is good, nimble brew will be good, jury's still out on ring of peace versus leg sweep. I guess you can't really trinket RoP. Survivability is a bit better with ToK, but I think we won't be anything special for PVP. Not enough burst.
Ring of Peace might not be as awesome as we hoped. But it is so crippling against melee that at least our appeal compared to other melee will go up. We can really shut down an enemy team's Frost DK or Arms Warrior. Killing enemy FCs will also be much easier: a Prot Warrior disarmed for 8 seconds is dead meat, especially if you can disarm him with grapple weapon before. Overall, though it's complete bull-crap that they made it so strong against melee and so mediocre against casters, since casters are already dominating RBGs.
Monks will still have the lowest glad representation come the end of 5.2

OT: Enough was done to make them super viable, then they were nerfed now they're more viable than they are in 5.1, but not as desirable, albeit, op as they could've been

I also think that Blizzard is fucking clueless when it comes to game design for pvp. Monks are currently fine in terms of relative power, the 5.2 buffs are going to push them over the top.

And Blizzard gave us everything BUT these things... including a new mastery that is broken. You know it's going to be nerfed. When the last season hits and monks are getting +90% damage increase, it'll be stupid.

I think you're exaggerating a bit.
I guess people just have a bit of a hard time managing more than just a manabar.
Some classes require you to play well even to perform somewhat well. That'll make a lot skip the class, making it less obvious to others if it's a good class or not.
Dunno how they are in 5.2 yet. Healerwise they are horrible annoying if they are good. Somewhat like a druid. Not possible to catch :P
