    And what is on the 5.2 daily faction that is of the slightest interest compared to 522 valor gear?

    It's not relevant that raid only factions existed in the past. What is relevant is that raid faction is gating a gated currency just like dailies did in 5.0/5.1 and unless normal mode raiders plow through ToT much faster than they did 5.0 raids, then raiders will be stuck doing LFR to open the 522 valor gear and I guarantee they won't like it.

    and so far blizzard only made excusses. non did even try to explain to the public.
    and why does blizzard have so much trouble getting content and stuff out. yet other companys are getting it done.
    blizzard got the money but doesn't want to spend it. and sure working with a team 100 instead of 10 won't fasten it by 10. but sure as hell speed it up.
    and sure getting the right people for the job can be a pain.

    You can complain about Blizzard and what they do, but in the time since WoW has been released no company has been able to release and MMO that has the combination of PvE endgame, PvP endgame and engaging level up process all running on a responsive and stable engine. Some games have checked a few of these boxes but none have been able to do it all. Maybe it's a lot harder than people give Blizzard credit for.

    did you even look remotly close to rift? sure as hell trion is doing a far better job then blizzard. and sure wow got 10m active acounts. but 50% is from asia. if they would release us/eu only info i'm sure it will be stuck at 5m max.

    the reason wow is big is because blizzard released at the time where mmo market from fresh. if they would release the amount of content vanilla wow had on release and the amount of content is was pumping out it need to go f2p like swtor did. the reason people are staying is because they invest money and time into it.
    not because wow is the uber big boy no1 can touch.

    At the same time, content creation isn't all development. One example would be re-skinning models without the inherent controversy (and subsequent marketing R&D) of playable races. In other words, 20 hired animators and designers couldn't expedite a positively received new night elf -- but they could definitely be relegated to updating critters, low-level gear, and all other in-game objects nearing 10 years of age.

    So the earlier statement about Blizzard choosing quality and cohesion over volume is relevant.

    I think this sums it up quite nicely.

    Nowadays Blizz seems to think about the immediate bottom line over the long term success of WoW. Best example I can think of is the start of Cata where Blizz said "Heroics will be hard again, raids will be hard again, and epics will be epic again!!!" Wherein after a month or so of complaints and people unsubbing, Blizz reverted all those changes.

    Blizzard needs focus and some balls to stand behind what they believe in. Sometimes the right choice is the hard choice.

    The answer is, the more communication that goes on between people the more information will be lost or missed, a small tightly knit team is much more efficient. Why do you think special forces teams are so small?
