The humor in this TDB is more along with my tastes. Was getting tired with all the over dramatic sarcasm ones.
Recent statements from GC talks about how dailies was intended to be done by raiders and the rewards was intended for raiders as well. Kind of clashes with previous statements that the VP gear was for nonraiders and that they should be irrelevant to raiders. Is this a philosophy change or a case of failed PR in an attempt to quell the complaints at launch?
Player base: Fix ret pvp!
Response: Holy is imba
Player base: Huh?
Response: So op!
Dailies were intended to be done by everyone. Just because you are a raider doesn´t mean youd on´t want vanity mounts and transmorg items. They weren´t meant to be (and they weren´t) a progression thing for raiders. Unless you started raiding a month after MoP started, for the most part there were very few upgrades. The only part of dailies that honestly affected raiding was the lucky charms... but that come down to like 7 quests per day.
The problem was when MoP launched, a lot of people will very bad math skills did a crapload of dailies before realizing that the 1000VP cap really made them pointless (other than getting your lucky charms).
Just making sure, you ARE aware that Mages bring nothing but DPS, right? Making us middle = making us get sat. Please fix?
Under that argument who doesn't get sat? Tanks and healers? Is this a hybrid tax deal? (Source)
All I'm saying is there's NO POINT to bring a Mage over a Warlock on the current PTR. Is that fair? I sure don't think so.
Raidbots (to use a site you can access) suggests 79K locks and 84K mages in 10H. Let's see if that ratio changes much in 5.2. (Source)
This deuchebag should really try to play a rogue in raids

Not really because then I wouldn't be missing out by not doing them. That's what you people don't get. If the choice being offered to me is do them and get reward or don't and lose the fuck out because you don't particularly like that flavor of content well then that's a pretty shitty fucking choice. In reality it's actually a non choice but since so many of you are hung up on the definitions of forced vs optional we have to say it's a choice because technically EVERYTHING in this game is. For the sane and rational among us, who are not hung up on that particular discussion, the daily dilemma is really a non choice.
That is but the first problem with this game currently. It's really multifaceted but yea one thing exarcebates another. Don't get me started on how slow making valor is.

Having more smaller raids compared to one big one per raid tier is way better, because it adds diversity.
I don't really like the fact that the nhc gear is so much better than the LFR gear. This will lead to brain afk nhc'lers topping LFR meters just because of their gear, regardless of how the LFR equipped player is performing. Leaving them to flame the raid chat how bad all LFRlers play.
The discrepancy in gear was perfect in 5.0 and 5.1. It's a shame they increased it for 5.2 just that all raiders do not feel the need to do LFR (they will do it anyways).

Maybe they shouldn't have restricted them to 90s, then. And because scenarios don't require tanks or healers, the queue times would have been excellent for DPS.Blizzard is still figuring out how scenarios fit in to the game, as they haven't lived up to their full potential yet.
They've done a terrible job at providing an adequate instanced leveling experience this expansion. Where we used to have 8+ leveling dungeons, we now have 4. It's silly that they didn't make normal versions of Siege of Niuzao Temple, Gate of the Setting Sun, and scenarios that take place within the very zones we are leveling. Combined with the gated reputations and inability to spend valor without reputation, they've made this expansion terribly unfriendly to alts and anyone who doesn't care for questing in general.
so when does this patch hit live?
Oh they can offer it all the want. I never said they couldn't. I just said if the other alternatives weren't as rewarding then it became very much forced. I don't want them removed as much as I dilike them, I just want the rewards brought back to dungeons. I want tabards back. I don't see why me having tabards and farming my face off for rep PRECLUDES you from doing dailies for all you like? By all means go ahead. You want to take it slow and do your shitty dailies? It's no problem for me. In fact keep the rep and the gear behind them but offer other avenues for that same gear and rep. I'd prefer it if they were faster avenues to be honest, but in either case it really doesn't matter in so far as you daily people are concerned. Feel free to continue running daily quests. Nothing stopped you in the past and nothing will stop you going forward. It's like dailies are this brand new thing that people have just discovered as a cure for boredom when the reality was they were never a cure for boredom but rather a cause. By all means though continue.

"The final OpenRaid event is going on now, with with Slootbag from Midwinter, the #1 US guild, doing Black Template and Sunwell."
Typos happen to everyone else but here the person must have been typing with auto correct on. I laughed way more than I should have, not in a mean way but in a happy wayThanks for the cheering up ^^
Since when has midwinter been the #1 US guild?
"LFR is supposed to be optional, mostly for players that don't raid with a regular group. The Throne of Thunder LFR gear is slightly better than the normal Tier 14 drops. LFR will have a staggered release schedule, so Normal difficulty raiders shouldn't feel any pressure to do LFR initially."
Blizz hates LFR... A normal raider should be over geared for it by this point anyways. Staggering its release is just silly. I would love to see how popular it really is compared to normal raids. LFR vs. Norm + LFR vs. Norm
If I couldnt only scrape the armory for the data..
This guy is so full of shit. He makes stupid comments and then tries to weasel his way out of them. "Making a philosophical point" my ass.Thoughts on Ele/Enh gettings totems back while blanketed? The nerf was class wide when aimed at Resto only, pretty careless...
I've said before that we didn't like it for any shaman. Not okay for a weakish PvP spec to be annoying. That affects everyone.
Seriously offended by this.We pour our blood sweat and tears into Enhance PvP and all we get is "weakish PvP spec is annoying"
I was making a philosophical point, not a shaman point. The argument was "we need this broken thing in order to be viable."
it wasnt broken, it was unique. Remove blink too gc, mechanically its retarded to have short cd trinket.
Broken vs. unique is subjective, which is why we make the calls instead of leaving it up to the community.
The rain on your parade.
