Utter Brain Fart - System Hardware Scanner

I'm trying to find some software that's quick and easy to identify what's in the system, CPU, RAM, GPU, Chipset... And I'm having a complete and utter brainfart trying to find it. I've googled things trying to find it again and I honestly cannot. It's got a dark grey background I think. >.>

Speccy! Yes. Sweet jesus, I don't know how I lost that. I was looking for "seeker" or something. -_-

I got up at 5am this morning to get to an estate sale with 20,000 comics... Opened at 7, I got there at about 7:08. They were already gone. fml.

Really don't need a program. Windows has it built in.
Win7 click start and search dxdiag.
For xp enter run and type dxdiag.

eh, not really, a Sandra report is more effective, DxDiag is a nice way for support to blow off customers, i can have you send me a DxDiag, it makes you feel like im really getting some technical information from you and that im going to look into the problem or pass it along to developers, but in reality most just get tossed

if you don't believe me, next time someone like blizzard asks for a DxDiag, edit it with some random crap, like 6 690s, or an Intel i9-FX8390 CPU, they won't even notice

Depends on what its for. If you want a quick look at say the model number of yourmother board. Dxdiag tells you without additional software.
In case you talking about the yes your are right.

Dxdiag can be nice... but... also not.

It says my "System Model" is MS-7758.. which corresponds to an MSI Z77A-G43. I have a G41.
I also have seen it say something like having an "ATI Radeon 6900" or something.. which... isn't helpful either. It's very vague, and often just flat incorrect.

It also doesn't show what kind of ram, how it's configured, or any overclocking. It has a purpose.. Just not what I was looking for. I had been using SiSandra but it's kind of a butt to get all setup up quickly.
