What happens to replicas after faction change?

Ey.
So I'm thinking of switching faction to join some friends, and currently im running around with Field Marshal replica transmog.

Has any1 tried switching factions while wearing/banking this gear? And what happens? Do my Field Marshal transmog replicas automatically switch to the Warlord transmog replicas? Or do my field marshal items disappear from my bank completely, forcing me to buy new ones?

It's not a big deal, it's just a question I've been wondering about, and atm I don't have much gold to just buy new.
