Robotic sounds / sound lag / sound skipps a beat

Hello
A few days ago i noticed that while i listen to music the sound just lags , skips a beat and sounds kinda robotic at times.If i do a restart it works correct but i have no idea what is causing it.

Dono if the fact that i installed a new hdd has anything to do with it but it started after i installed that one.

The sound problems aren't just from hdd/ssd audio/movies but internet radios and videos.

I think it has to do something with the sound card from my GA-Z77X-UD3H. The same noise is heard in my headset if its plugged in the front and the same sound is there in my speakers that are plugged in at the back.

Any ideas what the sound skipping / lag can be from ?

Re-mount all the components and ensure no cables are in an unintentional contact.
