Malevelant PvP weapon honor question.

Hi, short easy question here. My arena partner was looking foward to getting his weapons today after the reset and we log in to find that it has a 7250 honor gain requirement on it. My question is, If we were to start pvping today would it count towards this requirement or do we have to wait for the next season to start? Thanks in advance.

You can get it now, you don't have to wait for the season to start.

Farm the faction rares in Krasarang for the 250 honor tokens they drop. If you're in a high level guild, get the battle standard, pop it and use up the tokens. Each one gives a bit over 300 honor with the guild bonus and the battle standard. The rares respawn every 50-60 minutes so they're easy enough to farm.
