They better make a Ranger class. But I think they will.

The combat system is great for rangers, they have implied that there are more classes, and in the development vidoe with the barbarian class you see a shadow of someone with a bow as a weapon on the char select screen.

It's happening. And I'm going to main it.

I'm only going to play that game if they bring the Ranger. We played 4E for two years and the Ranger has to be my favorite character, by far.

The Sorcerer would also be nice, liked him a lot in 4E, especially because they actually had a Wild Mage option at level 1! That was so great...

Ranger was one of the few fun classes in 4E. Barbarian got even more fun, but the Paladin, my god, it is just awful.

The dual-wield Ranger was the best class I've ever played in any RPG. So much fun. So, so, so much epicness.

The Paladin, welp, they splitted the class. The standard Paladin is awful, I absolutely do not like him as a defender because he is about as sticky as Teflon. The Avenger is much more how I imagined the Paladin would be in 4E, even if it is a bit weird in places.

I am still puzzled, from a gameplay perspective, over the way they're making the classes. Some classes seem very strong with the right player behind it. For an example, I'm joining BG's where I'm in fighting all of the 20min of it, but I do not die once, because I know how to utilize the LoS from WoW and the slide that clerics have. To kite people, while healing yourself, using your beam to heal others and having sick CC effects does seem very strong, but the game makes it work to an interesting extend.

I'm interested in seeing what key mechanics they will put in other classes, because those we have now works amazingly well and in almost perfect synergy.

I never tried 4E Rangers, nor 4E at all. But I usually always play ranger in the serious campaigns we're having now in both Pathfinder and 3.5.

I'm even Ranger in our ADnD campaign that has been running for... two years and still going strong lol

Is it any good? Had a look over the abilities and recognized quite a few powers from the 4E. Sadly, sadly, sadly neither of my two preferred characters (Ranger, Warlock) has so far made it into the game it seems :/

Only played rogue so far, and it's just as nuts as it is supposed to be. Positioning is VERY important, as your daily power regens faster if you attack when flanking.
