Holy shit. I decided that I wanted to try out this new talent and went to the Isle of thunder where a majority of the mobs there are right around ~590k health or more. That coupled with Divine Insight is ridiculous. Getting the proc for MB and then using DP into MF, they mobs were falling like butter. I am in almost full Season 12 Malevolent, and I was getting 62k DPS on random mobs where before I was maybe sitting around 47k.
I must say that I am VERY satisfied with this change. I tried to 3 DP then MF a mob, and by the time I was done WITH JUST THOSE 2 SPELLS, I was already able to SWD them. (Granted that was the ~450k health mobs.
The only downside to this is that you only get the insanity buff while DP is up, so no matter what, as soon as you cast DP, you need to be MF'ing the shit outta your target. Even if you refresh SWP, that is a 1 sec GCD and that is a LOT of wasted time considering DP is only up for 6 seconds.
Also, if you DP at 3 orbs (is there any other way) then that is a increase of 99% damage for MF for those 6 seconds. I was mowing down mobs in a matter of seconds.
Anyone else have an amazing/noticeable dps increase when using Solace and Insanity? I am leaning more twards keeping this than going back to FDCL.
I should also add that I have DP bound to my Malevolent Gladiators Badge of Dominance (458 dreadful - The tooltip on my characters page says it is a increase of 129 SP, not sure if that is accurate, i remember that being more for some reason)
