How good is the shado-pan assault friendly trinket?

It looks really decent on first glance to me, just want to know if it is actually decent. Mrrobot seemed to rank it as #1 and shadowcraft isnt working for me to check...

I would be replacing a 484 relic.

I'm extremely skeptical about it being #1. Maybe if they are using some really high EP value for spell hit? But that is kind of silly because since you are (or at least should be) already hit capped, the hit on the trinket isn't really adding spell hit but various other stats (also worst case, you might have enough base hit on your gear that you can't reforge all the extra off and some of it is being used for white hit). Now you didn't mention spec, but I would guess the blood lust one and the mastery with agi proc + voodoo gnomes ones are better.

That said, it should be a good bit better than the dark moon relic.

According to that thread... for all three specs, the trinket is pretty low. I've heard others say the same. Its worse than Relic of Xuen (the darkmoon trinket).

Shadow craft shows the vp trinket ~2k dps higher than upgraded relic after reforging as combat. I'm fairly sure its up for assassination as well but im lazy.

The RPPM trinkets are terrible.
Until you have heroic ToT trinkets you should be using H Bottle and the Shado Pan trinket.

I could be wrong, but I think those EP values are determined if you can use all of the +hit from the Shado-Pan trinket.

"For the trinkets with static hit and expertise ep values assume all hit and expertise can be used."

Therefore the EP values don't really include reforging the hit into a better stat. That is, if I'm reading the above quote correctly.
