So I was looking through some skins and I noticed this:

That she basically has a leg made of 3 parts? Yeah, I can see it too.

Bad anatomy is pretty common in pics where a character is posing, especially female ones. It's to make them look "sexier".

EDIT: Which isn't to say that bad anatomy is sexy, but just that a lot of artists care more about enhancing "interesting" part of a body without caring if it makes sense or not. If you have ever been into comics you'd probably have noticed this a lot.

You are seeing her upper thigh as she raises her right knee. However, because of the perspective we all see a bit of her hips/backside.




In order to realistically see her bum, she would need to be twisting in the opposite direction. Otherwise Akali is a fat ass.

But if you look to her other leg they've already established a correct proportion of her butt on the other leg.

Nah his brain is paying attention to detail... YOUR brain is filling in the gaps and making the pic make sense.

Each leg (looked at separately) could easily be an acceptable pose, but together. They change the dynamic pose... and don't make sense together. Unless of course she has EXTRA joints.

Look more at what we can see of her butt starting to form. (Ignore the legs for a sec) we can see both sides... and given her pose... that would be impossible. We would see one side or the other. In this pic her pelvis is basically caving in, or folding in on itself, making both side views of the butt visible.

It's an action shot and not a pose so that would explain why it was so awkward to you. Good on you for replicating the 'pose' portrayed in the image though.
