Revealed at the end of the Expansion V trailer, added in 6.0. No, they won't require Expansion V.
One thing I forgot. If nothing is said by the end of Blizzcon, file this with the Dance Studio, Path of the Titans, and Proving Grounds.
I agree with the people sayingit will be a selling point for next expansion. Just like with cata the whole 'redoing old azeroth' was and that was free, it was just a PART of the new expansion.
Brought a friend to WoW and while she likes the game she loathes the races because they are extremly ugly and look like from a game from the 90's (which for all purposes the classic races are).
I'm curious as to the discussion re:Zandalari skins. In general the Zandalari have an entirely different skeletal structure than the Darkspears, at least, where the males are concerned. I'd be very skeptical of Blizzard deciding to suddenly change all trolls, but, it's not beyond them, I suppose.
I wonder if a race revamp would touch up all races, or just "old" ones? I'd personally like to see female worgen get a revamp-their alpha skins were much better than what made it to live (snarling chihuahua).
Really, with regard to player models, I just wish Blizzard would fix the issues with clipping/overlapping helms. T8 shaman helm, for example, ha a chain that hangs down from the chin-on Draenei and orcs it completely disappears into the chest, whereas on Tauren and trolls it hangs down and looks great. Stuff like that really irks me, mostly because it makes armor feel so two-dimensional. I wish they'd move beyond just helm and shoulders being the 3d aspects of armor.
Whatever they do, I hope they make more cute troll lady faces. Or take the one cute face there is away. Either, or. Just change the status quo of every troll female looking identical with the same face model because women don't want to be ugly and never pick the other ones.
