I got bugged during one of the shocks, and stayed big. Then another shock thing happened and I grew even BIGGER!

Oh dear, that sounds like a fun bug. The next time it happens you should drink the size increasing elixir.

Happened to me - saw one of our dps warriors go giant mid fight, get stuck that way, then go double giant next time he got the debuff. He looks like he just levelled through TBC as well, so it was doubly fascinating.
