Whole mechanic is garbage IMHO. It just happens to actually work out for feral because of free GCDs.
I had to go feral on Protecors HC non elite and the spec just left a bad taste so now I have a moonkin set in case I have to dps any 1 tank fights.
Revealing Strike does pretty much the same thing in one ability where as DoC is tied to 3 other spells that do no damage.
I just don't get the appeal, it feels like one of those old mechanics that wasn't actually thought out by the developers but players found and abused.
For people who are just occasional OS feral DoC isn't worth the work it takes to use correctly. It is pretty dumb tho that only feral can actually use DoC.
