    Pestering you one more time!

Still looking for a system before I decide on the one, since the ebay ones were bashed, what about this one,

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=43&catid=2475

I realize theres no OS or Graphic card, but if everything else is good about it, then should I buy a graphic card separate somewhere, or get one added into that build,

Also is the default case fine for keep it cool?

any chance you could fill this in?
Include the following information when posting a request.

    Budget
    Resolution
    Games / Settings Desired
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc)
    Country
    Parts that can be reused
    Do you need an OS?
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?

also since your UK based and looking for a pre-built i think you'd be better off i we can just configure a proper setup for your needs at http://3xs.scan.co.uk/

I'd probably go with the scan system too. Alternatively take a look at hotukdeals.co.uk. Look for a deal on a decent (i5 with 8GB ram) base unit and add £150-200 for a reasonable graphics card.

PSU MIGHT be an issue but I've run a GTX480, i7 2600k and about 6 hard drives on a 500w without too much stress.

    Edit:

    e.g: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pc-b...amazon-1477701

then add: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=595&catid=683 (the b-grade stock are usually perfectly good cards with a couple of minor cables/connectors you won't need missing).

    and:
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sams...ebuyer-1463135 for a drive

That would give a (fairly) stonking base setup for £500.

    Spec would be:

    i5 3570K
    Z77 mainboard
    8GB of decent brand memory
    1TB hard drive
Asus GeForce GTX 660 DirectCU II

    Edit2:

That's not actually a base unit, it's components...hmmm... you SHOULD be able to find similar complete base unit on ebuyer or hotukdeals tho.

    Get:

    any i5 ending with "K"
    8GB Ram
    Z77 chipset if possible

    choice of drive
    choice of graphics card

    Budget
    600 max

    Resolution
    No idea

    Games / Settings Desired
Been happy playing on low all these years

Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc)
Nope, I'll have Microsoft package from where else, but its primarily going to be gaming and assignment / research work

    Country
    Wales - UK

    Parts that can be reused
    Not sure

    Do you need an OS?
    Again getting this separate

Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?
    and again, getting everything separate

Just need the base unit for the 600 budget

    Edit:

Sorry I've made that many posts I normally get the same people replying and remembering me

define base unit as with or without a gpu? (if without what would be the budget if it included one?)

    edit: something like this perhaps?
    http://3xs.scan.co.uk/ConfigureSystem.asp?SystemID=1583
    remove OS, change gpu to a 650Ti and cpu to a 3570k brings it total to;
    £634.48
    Base Price: £81.25
    Your PC: £528.73
    VAT: £105.75

Yep something like that looks ideal

As does yours stalkerz, keep me a much clearer picture on what to go for, or where to get them from, once I'm back in my home town on saturday, I'll run this to the computer shop and see what they can do / if they can beat it

well depends do you want to build it yourself (or get it build by a relative/tech shop for a small fee) or a complete pre-built?
the first option would be the best bang for bang/performance wise.

Oh crap yea, forgot to mention that, I should have a friend who runs a side business with ICT to make it, hes good with builds repairs etc, just he didnt have a clue when it came to gaming,

He should do it for nothing if he holds to his word from when I worked with him

I'd it myself but when I last put a computer together it was when everything was connected with ribbon cables I haven't built anything since college

in that case go for stalkerz part selection.
you could swap some parts around but don't alter the CPU/CPU cooler/GPU those are a very solid match to build around incase some parts aren't an option to acquire.

Okay brilliant cheers, I might poke you in a private message if I do swap anything around to make sure its compatible with his build
