Warlock Green Fire Scenario

I just recently got my tome and am now in the scenario. Had no issues through the entire thing ... until the very end. I cannot for the love of all that is green and fiery even get this guy to half health, and Yes i'm using control demon on the Pit Lord and am still getting creamed. Any Advice?
