And WAR is down to 1 server for NA and 1 for EU, with basically no updates. It's really sad to see it gasp on life support. Needs to be handed off to a competent developer, because Mythic are trash.
My apologies then! I'm a preferred freeloader myself.

I actually liked Warhammer too. Shocked that hasn't gone F2P, wonder when they'll pull the plug?

Just a funny note I noticed after I got home...did you all know that SWTOR is charging Tax on their sub fees now? I hadn't even realized it, but apparently my last sub fee was charged tax.

I'm surprised they haven't shut it down too. Maybe it is actually making enough money to justify keeping it open?

Enough people forgot they have a reoccurring subscription.

I liked some of the ideas behind it, I'd love to see it get a proper team for a F2P relaunch a la Vanguard, but I don't think that's ever going to happen. It will probably stick around until it stops making any money then it will shut down. They already canned the Wrath of Heroes spinoff before it made it out of open beta/soft launch.

"Our new, high capacity servers are teeming with people."
Just logged off from Ebon Hawk. 22 people on Belsavis, republic side. "Teeming", yes, that's the right word.

The Red Eclipse is teeming with people. I can't speak for other servers. You sure you weren't in instance 2 or 3?

I'd say that out of all that Hickman wrote, the 'teeming with people' line was maybe the only accurate part

jamos after all this time are you REALLY suprised at nothing but ego flating and cartel promoting from this game

also notice how subbers are moved from the front of the list to second. PAYERS of coins are now their VIP players and subbers are lowly becoming second class citizens

That's total new accounts, not active accounts. I log on maybe once a week on average, so while I still count as a new account, I'm far from active.

i got 5mil creds that those vendors are CC only vendors like the ones up in fleet

Isn't it obvious yet? The developers have zero confidence in their game which is why they need to resort to such underhanded tactics to make money. They can't actually make money by putting out a quality product, nooooo... instead they have to put all new developments into the CM so they can charge subscribers extra for them.

Even the so-called "expansion" that was supposed to be free now costs money, and the Cathar isn't going into the expansion but is going separately on the CM so they can charge again for that. EA has written off this game and their strategy is to milk as much money as possible from it until it dies. They don't care about losing subs because the game is dead to them, look how many they've already lost, growth is impossible at this point so the object is now to milk the people who are left until it's all over. They probably only have like 5-10 devs, they were working on Makeb (1 whole planet) over a year ago and most of the additions to the game since release had been in the works prior to release.
And you could look deep into my eyes
    Like I was a super-model
    Uh-huh

Swtor has become 90% cartel market, 7% bug fixes and 3% content. I never thought I would see a State of the game where the CM is talked about that much. I think a rename is imminent, CARTEL MARKET: THE OLD REPUBLIC "free 2 play"

Well, the expansion has already been called Rise of the Cartel Market by the Gamebreaker folks and others, so they're already on their way there : P

Yeah, it's a real shame. I am still subscribed to it and plan on playing Makeb before I jump ship to TESO. I just hope TESO can keep their integrity and not go down the dark side. All this talk they had about only needing 500k players to make profit was probably just bull, this game was made purely for making money and little to no soul was put into making the best possible game. I hope BW/EA never tries out the MMO market again.

Yeah, I had seen that too. If you notice on one of the comments, apparently Dallas Dickinson has been making the rounds on a couple of the Cantina Tour stops.

Oh, I doubt it was BS. I just don't think it was enough of a profit, in the opinion of the higher ups at EA.

I was gonna make a sarcastic remark about this "Blog" but you know what? I'm not. It doesn't seem to surprise any1 at this point about their shady ways.

Explains why a couple of my friends suddenly just came back to WoW. See things haven't really changed all that much.

Depends. Character recustomzation allows you to change pretty much everything but your name.

They did include race though so if thats more in line with what it is then yeah Its a bit more understandable.
