    Gaming Computer Build

So I'll be ordering my gaming computer within the next week or so, I was wondering if these were good components? As far as what I need it to do

-Run high end games for the next few years without any lag/fps problems
-Most of the time Fraps will be on so it needs to have video recording capabilities without FPS issues
-The PC itself needs to be as silent as possible, the fan/cooling system needs to keep the PC as quiet as possible, no noise at all if possible
-With the 16GB RAM, I know that seems overkill but I need that to stay as is
-The PC is going to be running off of a WiFi connection so yes, the adapter is necessary
-As far as money goes I can't go any higher than $2400

So, could you all recommend some changes/fixes I can make to this build to decrease the price without compromising it's capabilities. Also if you could see if the monitor is good/high resolution, if not could you recommend a better one?

You could probably shave off about $200 from that system.

The sabertooth is unnecessary. A board thats 100 bucks cheaper is just as good.
The 840 Pro isn't needed really. The 830 is on sale (today and tomorrow I think). OTherwise the 840 is fine.
That ram seems expensive for what it is.
I'd recommend a different power supply than the CX model, they've been proven to be poor quality. A 620 or 50 ought to do it.

Edited the build a little, made the motherboard cheaper and got a different power supply. Couldn't find cheaper RAM but let me know if this is good.

I would recommend this board instead http://bit.ly/14bjzci, overclocking is extremely easy with it and 4.8GHz should be easy with your cooler.
Your harddisk chosen is also overpriced, get this instead.

Everything else looks good to me.
    8700K (5GHz) - Z370 M5 - Mugen 5 - 16GB Tridentz 3200MHz - GTX 1070Ti Strix - NZXT S340E - Dell 24' 1440p (165Hz)

...Why do you have a H77 chipset board? Get a Z77 one instead.

Is it the actual 830? Where is this sale? Might pick one up myself. Haven't seen them in stock anywhere in quite a while. (Thought it was discontinued?)

@tenangrychickens: Toffie already mentioned that, on a much friendlier tone. A good five hours before you did.
