It will not let me upload or post the Diaxdag info...i tried and it said i cannot upload links pictures or videos when i hit preview post so this is what i got.

I would like to upgrade my mobo. I am willing to spend up to about 300 dollars for one. Reason for wanting to upgrade my mobo is to overclock my CPU which i have a Cooler master 212 + cooling it but i cant refresh the multiplyer higher then 39, it is the current bios setting and i have tried playing with the FSB which is how i got it to 4.1GHz but even with upping the wattage minorly and increasing more FSB my system just crashes.

So a couple of my friends said i should get a new mobo and i have no idea what would be a good mobo to get.

you already have a Z68 board and a K series chip so you should be able to tweak the multiplier.
    is your bios updated?

I would link the gigabyte website with the bios but i cant. Lol.

alright any chance you are willing to check via the smart6 tool if the multiplier is truly locked? (auto OC tool , won't give the best oc but guess we can use it to see if you can push multiplier past 39)

    "The mainboard isnt supported!!!"

Why are we recommending $300 motherboards when a $120-$140 will do just as good a job? O_o I don't understand people...

This Gigabyte should do plenty, and at sub-$200, that leaves you a little bit of change. A suggestion would possibly be to sell those GPUs and replace them at the same time.

i totally agree. his budget was high and was already achieving 4.1Ghz. thats my only reasoning behind my suggestion otherwise i wouldve suggested this or this.
