Specific graphical artifacts

Anywhere I see a grey gradient background (steam, wowhead, visual studio, etc), only the grey flickers. I have my most up-to-date drivers (nvidia GTX 460). Any ideas? I have an HD monitor and windows 7 64bit.

Sounds like a VGA monitor. Using a blue monitor cable?

Did it flicker in your browser (for Firefox, the gray part next to the tabs, files, options, etc...) ? I've had this issue in the past and a clean install of the driver fixed it (or was it a clean install of window? Don't remember which).

it's HD in, HD out, and an HD cable. No, it's on any grey my computer tries to display
