    Radeon 7990 Preview at GDC?

    So, I saw that AMD is previewing they're new Radeon HD 7990 at this year's GDC. How is it different from the.. currently available one?

    It's an "official" AMD 7990. The others on the market are unofficial and made by their respective companies (Asus, Powercooler).

    Eh, it doesn't use that much power. A 750 would cover it.

    Also, the old ones run at 900 and 925 mhz. The AMD reference one will run at 1025.

    2 8pin power connectors instead of three, takes up two 'spaces' (forgot the term >.<) instead of three in the case. Supposed to cool better with that new 3-fan cooler. I wrote it here, but wrong section + second one created after mine in right section so I had it locked.

    it will run hotter compared to my titan for sure
    also it would kinda suck for overclockers if they are limited at 80-90 degrees max temps like the club3d one is/was?
    the worst part is likely the drivers , like with the ARES 2 card that simply performed horribly in certain games because of custom drivers that scaled really bad in quite some scenarios.

    ps : red it's called a 2 slot card
