I hate that I have to be connected to the internet to play star wars the old republic. I don't get why they force us to use the internet to play a single player game.

Doesn't matter what you call it. If the developer develops it as an MMO, and lets it require always-online, then that's how it is. Doesn't matter how much you wish or believe it to be something else. It is what it is. SWTOR is an MMO, thus requires you to always be online. You not agree with what it is, but it is what it is. Simple as that.

Hackers have change like one line of code to make SimCity offline with only the lack of saving being affected(which they're working on)

You actually have to have a server to connect to to play MMO's.

I have 72 games on Steam. Not one of them requires I always be online.
