    Building pc for wow

Hi i want to my old pc to run wow in 25 man raids without any slowdown on high/ultra.

    Budget: 700$-800$ cheaper the better
    Resolution : 1080p
Games / Settings Desired: Wow on high or ultra. No plans for super advanced grapihics like crysis 3
    Country: Ukraine
    Parts that can be reused:
    PCU Chieftec CTG-450-80P
    2 HDD
Do you need an OS?: i have windows 7 32 bit, but I am not sure thats its retail

I browsed forums and decided for starters I will get
    MoBo: ASRock Z77 PRO3 (s1155, Intel Z77, PCI-Ex16) ~ 95$
    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz/6MB (BX80637I53570K) s1155 BOX – 240$
    SSD: SSDNow V300 120GB 2.5" SATAIII MLC (SV300S37A/120G) 95$

Not sure about what graphic card should I get and should I get new windows 7 64 bit to be able to use more than 4 gigs of ram

Well Wow is getting old, I am not good with specs, but you should EASLY be able to find a really good one, "premade" from stores, do like me, i bought mine when there where a "mega" sale of this one kind of premade pc's really good totoaly worth the money.

And anyway wow is getting old, my toaster can run wow on low setttings, should not be a problem

Should run WoW at highest settings. 4gb ram is more than enough unless you want to play Crysis 3.
If shipping is too expensive, you might wanna look into hardware stores in your area.

Wrong. MoP is less than six months old, with graphics engine tweaks from six months ago. It's pretty damn new game technically.

And what about those who want settings higher and don't like WoW looking like minecraft?
Never going to log into this garbage forum again as long as calling obvious troll obvious troll is the easiest way to get banned.

Now that I read it back, you might be right.

    OP: Do you need RAM?

If you already have 4GB, then it's fine.

If you're going to buy 4GB, then I'd advise to get 2x4GB, since RAM is dirt cheap these days.

Since he has and plans to keep using a 32-bit OS more than 4GB would be utterly useless. On the other hand RAM costs virtually nothing atm.

He asked us for advice about it. He didn't state he absolutely wants to stick to 32 bit. And even though RAM is dirt cheap, sticking more than 4gb in a 32 bit setup is wasted money.

@ OP: As others have said, it's a solid recommendation to switch to 64 bit and up it to 8gb ram if the budget allows for it. (The price difference comes from having to buy a 64 bit windows license. RAM is dirt cheap.)

By the way, do you intend to overclock the CPU at all OP? It's real easy to do these days and gives a nice performance boost, but if you're sure you don't want to OC then the build's Toffie has posted can be made a little cheaper.

I don't plan to overclock. When I will get from work, I will created shopping list for my local webstore.

If you are sure about no overclocking at all, make the following chances to either of Toffie's builds:

    - CPU: Switch from 3570K to 3470 (no K at the end. )
    - Lose the cpu cooler. Intel boxed cpu's come with a cooler that's sufficient for stock speeds.
    - Change the motherboard to a B75 model rather than a Z77 model.

This will shave some cash off and removes features you surely won't be using.

I'll still recommend going with the 64 bit option Toffie posted.

By the way, give us the website you'll be using to order parts. Prices might differ, which could alter the recommendations.

The model power supply is no available here . Can you recommend models similar to that ?

If you have a windows 7 32bit key that you can use, you can install 64 bit with it. You do not need to buy another copy unless you can't transfer it to a new system.
