    Budget Mobo / CPU for Gaming

    Hey guys! I'm trying to build my buddy a budget computer so he can get back into gaming, hes very limited on funds. I Frankenboxxed something together for him but we need more in the CPU category. How will this fare as far as budget / performance?

    are you planning on getting a graphics card also? or just using the built in gpu on the APU?

    The frankenbox I put together has a GTS 250 which should do for now until he can scrounge up more money. Basically trying to upgrade as I go with him.

    honestly i would go with a 970 board and a Phenom ll 965 BE it's going to cost a tiny bit more money, but he will get much more performance out of it.
