    7750 GB Worth Getting Over 7770 1GB?

    vs.

Both fairly cheap cards but both seem to be pretty strong though I don't know if the greater GPU memory will make enough of a difference to put it on par with the 7770.

Wanting to run Skyrim on mostly high settings possibly with FXAA enabled and running ENB's + a few texture packs. I was able to run those things on a crap card so I'm sure these cards can do so too but hopefully this time with FXAA and higher frame rates.

Also PSU recommendations to go along with those cards would be good. Don't want to spend more than $150-$170 total.

Define a 'crap card' because some people might mistake a very high end older card (480, 495) as 'crappy'.

The 7770 is probably a better bet but I find it hard to believe you're running skyrim with all those settings on a card that's lower than those.

Nvidia GTS 240. Freaking crap card. And yea, my mind was blown too on how the card was able to run Skyrim on all high settings even with 2x AA and 1920x1200 resolution with ENB's and texture packs at 25+ fps for nearly a year.

Any card would be an upgrade I think but I just wanted to know if a 2 GB version of the "weaker" (7750) card might be better than the 1 GB of the stronger one (7770).

at 25+ fps for nearly a year.
25 fps is not considered 'playable' for most people. So yeah, it'll play better, and you'd likely get better out of the 7770. You might also look into the 650 Ti Boost if you can swing it.

you can put 10gb of memory on a pos card. all it will be is a pos card with 10gb of memory. the 7770 is a much better card than the 7750. that said it is still on the low end of the video card spectrum. if you are looking to run skyrim on high/ultra at 1080 res it will be a little jerky. if you are looking for high fps with higher settings with the 7770 you don't really want to go over a 1440x900 monitor.
