how do I best update my laptop GPU drivers?

I've got an Acer Aspire 5471G with a Geforce GT 320M. my drivers date from October 2010.

I have a feeling that i should be updating my drivers because it could help with some games. I haven't yet done so, even before I reinstalled my laptop, because I don't know whether I should use drivers from Acer or from Nvidia themselves. I've heard that I should use the drivers that are provided by the laptop manufacturer, but I don't know if that's the best option.

should I use Acer drivers or drivers from Nvidias website?

nvidia should be your best bet.
