Decided it's time I upgraded from my laptop to a desktop for gaming (it's a no brainer, I know!). First time I will actually be building a desktop but it doesn't look too bad and pretty fun so I thought I'll give it a bash! (Have friends on stand-by to help if it all goes tits up :P)
Budget £800 - Can't go too much higher (maybe £50 or so) Resolution 1920x1080 - Or the best I can get within budget Games / Settings Desired WoW on High/Ultra with at least 30 FPS in 10 man raids. SC2, Diablo and a few steam games on High/Ultra Country England Parts that can be reused Nope Do you need an OS? Yes Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? I have a 24" 1080p TV that I use for my Xbox that I figured I could use as a monitor, it has all the right connections. I do need a mouse and keyboard though due to only having a laptop atm, been looking at a Razor Deathadder and preferably a laptop style keyboard (I just like the Function keys to be really close to the top numerical ones) so if you have any advice on that it would be great!
The graphics card doesn't seem to come with AMD's 'Never Settle Reloaded Bundle' so I'd check to see if they;re still available with that retailer. Anyway overall you'll be spending around the same if you bought these two items from Dabs since delivery comes to £0.99 for both these items together.
Also if you register with topcashback you get 2% off your purchase before VAT, which I know doesn't amount to much but again it makes things a little cheaper overall.
Lastly to save a little bit more money, since delivery from Aria is around £10
