Heroic: Council of Elders

Hey guys and gals!

My guild is currently progressing on Council HC in ToT and i have a question about Frostbite/Biting Cold.
Does anyone know if you can FD or Deterrence just before it hits to avoid getting it.. Never got the chance to try it myself.

I've tried it numerous times and never got it to work. All I know is stuff like bubble/block work (though a Symbiosis'ed block doesn't).

Symb'd Iceblock works. I have tried all I can think of aswell, Deterrencing, FD'ing right away + both at the same time. Nothing seems to work to negate it.

You can't negate it, you can immune the damage (certain classes) but you will keep the dot till it runs out.

I have heard you can cast it right before the timer, in anticipation that you may get it to avoid it. But honestly the frost bite mechanic isn't too hard to deal with otherwise. Just kill sul first, and frost second so you get only ~2-3 frostbite phases.
