Usually a couple of months before blizzcon people have already found a Registered Expansion name for the next expansion.
We new Cata was gonna be Cata way before they even announced it.. and same with MoP when they tried saying it was not the next expansion and yada yada.
So far I've heard no news on what the next expansion could be named o-o.
Or has it? and Im totally missing out o-o

It's only April, Blizzcon is in november this year, so we have some time.

Should be within the next few months, though, I'd expect. It's certainly not "late" by any means, in fact, I'd argue that them having registered it already or by the end of this month would be on the early side.

Wasn't MoP name registered in like May or something? I googled it, and an article dated August was talking about the name being registered, but I think it was earlier.
The point is, there still is plenty of time.

But remember, we knew about MoP's title before DS even launched. So there was a long time between that and the actual end of the expansion. It's just that as soon as the playerbase gets a whiff of the next expansion suddenly the current one is dead to them!

blizzcon is the expansion announcement, not launch. there is at least over an year left of this expansion which will be one filler patch(5.3) and 1 content patch(5.4).
