PvP vs PvE [Season Endgame]

PvP ilvl 496 /weapon ilvl 498
PvE ilvl 549 / weapon ilvl 549 ( heroic + valor uppgrades )

53 ilvl points difference.

3 questions

1) pve stats get lowered into arena/rbg? i saw a lock, with no SL/Sacr, ilvl 519 with 560k hp. i got 440k hp ( 4 tyrannical atm, but still the difference is huge )
2) PvP powers came from armor and weapons ( but weapons gives 40%/50% of your total pvp power, so a PvE player with pvp weapons should rock, isnt it?
3) PvE equipment has more sockets that PvP items, which could means more resilience gems ( for a tank ) or pvp power gems ( for a dps ).

in the end, am i missing anything or PvE will be better for everything?
is blizzard working about it?

I recommend that you look at the blue posts stating RGB,Arena an REG BGS will have a 496 ILVL cap so it wont matter if you have a 549 ilvl pve trinket/wep it will be reduced to 496 in patch 5.3, Please note the ilvl reduction will be coming in 5.3!.

Also all pvp gear's PvP power will not be budgeted into the gear's ilvl, which will make PvP gear far more supior to its PvE counter part.

Battlegrounds, Rated Battlegrounds, and Arenas now have an ilevel cap. All gear will be scaled down to ilevel 496.
