Everyone has a role to play in the upcoming war, even Gamon! He got a few upgrades in Patch 5.3, as he is now a level 90 Rare Elite with 39 million health.
He has been buffed up to 39 mil hp + is rare elite now. He is surrounded by Kor'kon. I would love to have it that way:

Before you can begin Orgrimmar raid, you have to free Gamon and he will lead the whole raid A glorious redemption for this poor dude

    Gamon will fall before Garrosh.
We all change, when you think about it. We're all different people all through our lives. And that's okay, that's good, you've got to keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me.

We will avenge him! I can now imagine this scene, a copy from the Lich King fight Gamon will charge, Garrosh will kill him, then we may charge:P Of course, Thrall/someone later will review Gamon.

Gamons role will simply be a rare elite mod that you down for loot, which gives you an item boost to get into the raid.

Nah, think he'll just stay in Orgrimmar like always, don't see him being in the raid as well.

I think it would be awesome if at the end of the role play where Thrall is (probably) about to forgive Garrosh. Gamon just charages in and beheads him. Yells "For the Horde!" And runs out.

It would be funny but doubt it.

If you fail killing Garrosh in time then instead of berseker, Gamon comes in 1shotting the raid.

When Garrosh drops to 10% the whole raid is stunned an a roleplay starts. Then before Garosh can finish us from somewhere Gamon jumps in an slays the former warchief ;-)

Let's think for a moment, why was Gamon.. Gamon? As in, why was he a neutral mob inside Orgrimmar, ready to be attacked by anyone?

The practical reason was that he had to be targetable for rogues, who pickpocketed him for a quest item. Not everyone knows this.

Now, what was this quest item?

T'was a key to unlock a satchel of a troll who traded with pirates.

    That's right.

    Pirates!

So obviously, Gamon's inclusion in the final raid of Pandaria means the next expansion will be pirate themed.

    My logic is sound.

Or...Gamon has been previously captured and was victim of experiments by the dark shamans, at the end of the fight Garrosh lies dying with the broken gorehowl next to him and the spirit of Grom will appear:

    Garrosh: Father! Is it...over?

Spirit of Grom: At long last, no warchief rules forever, my son.

    Garrosh: I see...only darkness...before me...*Garrosh dies*

    (Vol'jin walks in)

Spirit of Grom: Without it's master's command, the restless horde will become an even greater threat to this world, control must be maintained...there must always be...a warchief! *Spirit of Grom disappears*

Vol'jin: Da weight of such a burden, it must be mine, for there be no other...

Gamon: Vol'jin! You hold a grim destiny in your hands, brother, but it is not your own.

    Vol'jin: Gamon! By da spirits...

Gamon: The dark shaman's flame...sealed my fate, the world of the living can no longer confort me. Place the warchief's mantle on my shoulders, Vol'jin. Forevermore, I will be the Jailer of the Damned.

Vol'jin: No, old friend. I cannot.

Gamon: Do it, Vol'jin! You and these brave heroes have your own destinies to fulfill. This last act of service...is mine.

Vol'jin: You will not be forgotten, brudda.

Gamon: I must be forgotten, Vol'jin! If the world is to live free from the tyranny of fear, they must never know what was done here today.

(Vol'jin puts the warchief's mantle on Gamon's shoulders)

Gamon: Tell them only that the warchief is dead, and that Gamon...died with him.

Gamon: Now, go. Leave this place, and never return!
