    I'll trade you.
I have two full things of math homework right after taking a test today. The homework is also due tonight.

    I completely agree.

    3. Compare Bacon's approach to knowledge with Descartes' view.
Sounds like a good amount of work if that's due tomorrow.

Did you know that the "cras" in procrastination comes from the latin word "cras" which means tomorrow?
I did not know that. I'm going to tell that to people so I can sound smart.

I just spent the last 3 hours teaching math to people from Dalley's class because he doesn't actually teach and people know I can teach.

I should start charging them. Well, all except my best friend of course.

Still have a 4 page paper to do as an outline for a comparison/contrast between Frankenstein (the book) and renditions of Frankenstein in other literature. I gotta study for a test in PolSci (literally the first time I've ever felt it necessary to study). Still gotta do a 10 page research paper for Criminal Justice by the end of next week, and I still wasn't even given a list of available topics. That's not even all of my homework, I'm not entirely sure what I still need. =/ Hell, sometimes I have so much homework, that coupled with other duties, I don't have TIME to eat.

Homework is, in my opinion, an entire waste of time, because this is college, if people are going to fail tests because they didn't study and homework didn't force them to study (because that's really what homework is, is studying) then that's their own damn fault. Let them fail if they want to, it's their money (usually).

I agree, most people who don't do well on tests didn't study or do homework or are just plain stupid. We shouldn't be forcing people to study just because some people can't handle the class. The only homework that should exist is for things that can't be easily tested (as in, research papers, specific projects, stuff that can't be graded perfectly equal across the board). Still, I would think that even just a final paper would cut it. If you didn't learn how to write a paper, then that's too bad and that's your fault for not paying attention in class or practicing if you need it.

That's not exactly true. There are people (myself included) who don't always test well but do very well on homework and study.

That's why I said most. If a person consistently fails every single test with a very low grade in a class, I really don't think they deserve to pass, especially with a higher grade than someone who literally spent an hour crying because he only got a 91.5% on a test (originally 89, but the teacher made an allowance because while I failed to actually put the term "Blank Slate" in my paper, it was described pretty thoroughly).

Started my new job today. Pretty much spent half the day shoveling gravel, but it wasn't too bad overall. Making a grand a pay period is nice.

They moved me over to the construction department to help get them caught up on a roller coaster they're building. It's something along the lines of a $30m project.

    That's pretty cool!

I was watching the Giants vs Vikings game today and they played Lift Me Up multiple times throughout the game.

    Goodnight, Hastings.

    Welcome back, Jeav!

If my hair follows the pattern of what my parents hair has done, it will just thin a little in my 50s.
