That chest shouldn't use a purple gem if you are over hit cap.
Ebon is quite bad, but I don't know by heart how much the vp gives but I would go with vp one simply because the proc rate is almost always the same compared to the ebon that the proc is awful since it it's a backwards rentaki and you can have awful proc rates or amazing proc rates.

Curious, I understood it doing that on my rogue (dual wield), didn't think it would do it for other classes, they should consider stam as viable. I don't know. AMR is a bit weird with hit. It tells me to put agi/hit gems in blue sockets even though I was at 9% already without any hit gems and every item with hit reforged away. Would think that agi/stam would be better at that point, more health helps survival, but there's no option at AMR to do so

Why not? 120 bonus + 80 from gem (plus useless hit rating or stamina) = 200 agility versus 160 agility from another red gem. Originally Posted by Joyful

Ye, for DPS-classes blue is kinda useless after the first tier of the expansion. After that there's enough hit on the items. But none of that matters anymore indeed. Originally Posted by Rixis

It might not sim at 100% optimised, but it exercises the brain. TBH I can usually get it close to optimal anyway. I know I've managed to beat AMR before in getting it bang on hit and haste caps. :3 Originally Posted by Joyful
