The Great Marijuana Debate!

For the past 6 years I have had to sit in classes hearing one of the many great controversial topics, and that is the legalization of marijuana. In my opinion I am all for it, not because I like to smoke it but because it actually has some great benefits. One of my many wonders is why do we live in a country in which cigarettes, that kill 443,000 people each year, is legalized. The substance of alcohol, which kills 100,000 people out of abuse, yet marijuana is still illegal. So do you think it should be legalized?

This topic has been done to death, I am fed up with people trying to convince me how beneficial and good for you weed is, I don't care at all that others smoke it I just don't want it pushed on me.
