I'm replying to you saying "You're entitled to your opinions, but you'll note that both of you are basing it on the idea that the government is inherently evil..." and attempting to justify my opinion.

If you don't want to discuss it then so be it, but there is no need to be obnoxious simply because you don't agree with me or don't care. Just stop if you hate taking about it that much.

You don't understand how this works. If you reply to something I say and propose a countering viewpoint, I'm going to respond to it. Much like you did initially...

...and why would I care if we disagree? I even said you're entitled to your opinion.

first off, TradewindNQ, it can affect you. Google, Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft are all American companies. if you use their products, your personal data falls under their EULAs and American privacy laws, because they're in hands of American companies. even MMO-champion is in US hands.

now, suppose that one of our US posters here is a suspect in an FBI investigation. if you are communicating a lot with that person through the forums, you could get targeted as well. if one of the Boston bombers had an account on here, or another forum you visit often, and you communicated often with him, you would be a suspected person.

and Walbomb, 99% of pornsites have a redhead tag or even section. there are millions of redhead videos on the internet, with billions of views. so many people watch porn. what is the FBI going to do? are they going to analyse all the US hosted redhead video stats that are appropriate for the investigation? if we take 50 million videos with 100 relevant views each, that's 5 billion views they need to analyse, link to people and interpret. if your neighbour has a 16 year old kid, that's just as likely a target as you.

Then I say investigate away because I have nothing to hide. I don't care if it's "a bad reason to blah blah blah." This won't become law...and the OP's topic is still wrong. So what the hell.

And how is what I'm doing not responding to your countering viewpoint by reinforcing my own, which is generally how a discussion works?

Yeah, I think I do. I don't even miss my 3 week bans sometimes, removes the temptation to come here and deal with this.

    Topic is still wrong.

The world needs some good old revolutions, because most governments are clearly not working.

It often seems to be the case that it's those with money to back people working in the government that are the source of the issues that pop up. Changing individuals inside the government may just end up changing the face of the problem, but not the underlying cause. One of the issues of a country very much focused on capitalism as the control is in the hands of those who can afford to buy it, in my opinion.

disgusting, Senate are a broken and expired system. How can a country count on a handfull of old and tired men and women that half of them don't know what internet is, let them vote for any bill?! These pathetic people can be bought, and they are, by big corporations or lobbies so they vote before even having a clue about the bills themselves. Now they use a national tragedy to ninja pass the bill. Not only this is disrespectful for the victims, it's a disrespect for all americans (which I am not).

This came from the house. So blame the younger and tired men and women, half of whom don't know what the internet is and are bought by big corporations and lobbies and vote without having a clue about the bills.
