    Subterfuge

    Is it just me, or does the use of subterfuge just seem not worth it? Sure its a mini dance but by the time you come out of it, you hardly have any energy to do anything. Shadow focus seems more promising for pvp than subterfuge does.

    Or is it really just come down to play style choice?

    Playstyle for me...if I don't have Subterfuge to open with I feel very exposed now a days :S

    subterfuge is borderline op i cannot grasp how you can play without it. cheap / garote whole enemy team in 3's is kinda stupid ^^

    For me when i play with subterfuge, i feel as though sub has become assassination in terms of energy regen.

    Do you play much 3's? Personally as Disc/War/Rogue I find the only way we can beat Godcomp (Mage/Spriest/Rdruid) is via Subterfuge / Dance / Cloak and Dagger. The triple garrote means we can go as offensive as we like. Or Cheap Shotting both melee in 3's to stop there burst or force trinkets. It really is good. I hope Blizzard don't change it too much, perhaps make us visible but still able to use abilities as if we were stealthed.

    I think Subterfuge becomes extremely weaker if you do not run Cloak and Dagger. 2's Shadowstep. 3's Cloak and Dagger.

    Subterfuge is OP as fuck. I have no idea how it lasted this long.

    If you're running out of energy during subterfuge (I'm assuming you're using ambush?) just replace ambush with backstab on your stealth bar. Or try dancing during subterfuge to get 40 energy ambushes.

    Subterfuge is amazing, and it'll get really good in PVP with lots of haste.

    Imo, Shadow Focus used to be better untill it got nerfed. Now Subterfuge really is the only way to go.

    It allows for some interesting play though.. you can open and after opening still sap something. Makes it a little easier to get proper openers.
    Given.. it costs you a lot of energy. But if the only other option is to leave the target uncontrolled it's worth it more often than not.

    That's not it's only use though, play with it.. it's amazingly OP.
