Think about positives, that single dialogue turned many of his "fans" against him, possibly saving us from his "glorious" reign as warchief.

I'll quote WoWwiki (Not a great source)

"Dreadlords prefer to turn their talents to psychic assault and manipulation, seeking to dissolve the bonds that unify individuals, groups, and nations and leave their mortal victims floundering amidst chaos and decay. A nathrezim-occupied world eventually abandons higher morality as irrelevant to the context in which its inhabitants find themselves, joining the dreadlords in their callous worship of the maligned. Although fierce warriors, nathrezim prefer a leadership role, standing behind a wall of ghouls or other allies and retreating when their enemies press too close"

With the latest Spoilers (see http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...n-5-3-Spoilers)

Vol'Jin seems to abandon "higher morality" by saying he would let Sylvanna raise dead alliance to fight Garrosh...

    Thoughts?
So bloody reminds me of a passage in a book i was reading: ''sports and treacherous politics became more and more common as the Collapse wore on'' (ie abadonig higher morality)... Though admitted, Dark One is alone more potent then dreadlords! Or did he need Dreadlords? would have been an easy win then

oh its not insulting anymore, and its relevant to how awesome vol'jin is.

Even blizzard promotes overly sexualized imagery, like succubus on a rock exposing her butt.

It doesnt insult me, but some people may be more sensitive and they also deserve respect. Also there is not a single "awesome" thing in vol'jin. Hentai won't help it. (unless its tentacles)

    U mean Azshara/Tyrande?

A monstrous, blue-green face leered at her. It was elven, yet almost akin to some monstrous fish. Finlike projections extended not only from the head, but coursed down the scaled back. Indeed, scales covered the face and the curved chest as well. The hands were webbed and clawed, more like those of some ocean predator. They, though, were still more akin to a night elf's form than the lower part of the things body. Rather than legs, it moved upon what appeared some combination of a snake's and an eel's slippery torso. It was, in fact, the spiny tail of that torso which sought to strangle Tyrande. ... It was and was not the queen. There was just enough of Azshara's features in the scaled face, though the eyes were fiery red orbs that sought to burn into the high priestess's mind. (from the Stormrage book)

Vol'jin's death in a scenario??? That's news to me. He was stabbed with a poison dagger by a hateful, corrupt orc who was ordered by Hellscream to put him down.

And to the OP, No. Vol'jin is not possessed by a demon, except maybe one of regret for not doing something about Hellscream sooner. If any of the Horde leaders are possessed I would say it's Garrosh. I think it's pretty clear that orc is off his rocker.

And the way it happened, I mean, a 50-pages long adoration thread "Vol'jin is so badass he talks big to Alliance and doesn't afraid of anything" followed by "Fuck Vol'jin is so pathetic I hate him" thread. Priceless.

Thank God he's not posting his Thrall's balls collection. Its existence is out of question at this point. Btw, guro's an idea...

I can honestly say my friends would be so far from interested in the things you just mentioned they'd laugh to hear me say it. 2 girls 1 cup? Clearly you don't know much about gay themes on the net.

Detaining someone with evidence of future terrorist action is a lot different than detaining someone because their skin is brown or olive... Tell me Garrosh has evidence of of troll rebellion and I will eat crow, but after Vol'Jin consults with Thrall the first time about Garrosh, he falls in line and carries out his orders (very well I might add) until a Kor'kron orc sticks a knife in his neck.
If there's one thing World of Warcraft players hate more than people who don't play, it's people that do play but not as much as them.

Well there wasn't a troll rebellion to have evidence of until attempted murder of Vol'jin

He's not possessed, he's just showing the Alliance, hey, you're worthless and we only need you as a distraction. You die, I'm going to let one of our allies use you to boost her army. It's a good move. The Alliance get killed and Sylvanas get more members. I see nothing wrong with less Alliance, means more zones for us Horde to have.

Death to the Alliance, long live the Horde (after Garrosh is dealt with, we don't want a whiny leader.)

That's exactly what I'm trying to say.

Garrosh was supposed to have a reason to assassinate Vol'jin, the reason being Vol'jin undermining Gary's authority, hindering progress of military operations and going to borderline sabotage. Frankly, I dunno if it was ever realized at all (knowing this game, it was not), as the narrative focuses exclusively on the fate of poor wronged Vol'jin opposing a vile dicktator. And thу level of uncooperativeness implied was supposed to have repercussions on Vol'jin's subordinates. But again, I'm trying to make this story make sense despite that it wasn't meant to make any sense in the first place.
